BME Health Improvement Grant

The BME Health Improvement Grant scheme is a small grants scheme for voluntary and community groups based or working in Telford and Wrekin.

Around £25,000 is being made available in 2009 by NHS Telford and Wrekin and Telford and Wrekin Council for small grants of up to £1,000.  The scheme is being administered by Telford Race, Equality and Diversity Partnership (TREDP).

The main aim of the BME Health Improvement Grants scheme is to support projects which contribute to the PCT's Health Improvement programme and the Older People Joint Commissioning Team’s objectives. Projects should support one or more of the priority themes outlined in the criteria and have an ethos of inclusion and equality. We are particularly keen to support projects that focus on BME older people.  To check the full criteria click here
