RAWM (Regional Action West Midlands) is an organisation which helps the voluntary and community sector get involved in the decision making and resource allocation processes. They do this by:
- Informing the sector about which strategies and policies are likely to impact on them, and making sure that all opportunities to contribute to the shape and delivery of these are explored.
- Supporting the sector in organising themselves into effective networks and structures to collectively influence decision makers.
- Directly engaging with regional decision makers from a range of agencies to promote the vital role of the voluntary and community sector in improving the quality of life in the region.
RAWM also produces a monthly generic bulletin for its members which includes details of resources and opportunities available for VCS groups. For more information on RAWM and RAWM membership, click on the link www.rawm.org.uk/content/about_us/category/our_membership
